我的祖母......................................... 劉俊辰

雖然我在很小的時候就移民至加拿大, 祖母在我腦海裡總留有深刻的印象. Although I moved to Canada at a very young age, grandma will always leave a lasting impression in my mind.

祖母是一個在很多方面可以為大家學習榜樣的人, 自小,印象最深刻的,就是祖母每週都有好幾天清晨天未亮即起, 健步晨操, 數年不中斷. 小時後幾次跟她去爬景美後山的仙跡岩, 看見她的健步如飛, 心平氣定, 只需小事休息就可抵達山頂, 相較於年輕的爸媽與我們, 沒達半山已經氣喘如牛, 腿軟力疲, 我的心中對祖母的好體力與好耐力總是佩服得不得了.She is a truely unique individual that we could all learn a lot from. I still remember when we were little kids, grandma use to always go hiking many times a week at the break of dawn. I remember joining her on her hikes a couple of times, and was always amazed at the amount of climbing that she did! I usually got tired before she did!

除此之外, 祖母是個不拘小節, 天性樂觀的人; 每次我見到她時, 她的臉上總帶著喜悅的微笑. 她開放自己面對新的時代與經驗, 喜歡嘗試新的事物; 也因如此, 她常常到不同的新奇景點旅遊並結交新朋友 。Beyong that, grandma has always been a carefree, fun loving individual. Everytime I see her, she has always had a smile on her face. she is always up for new experiences and trying out new things, which is why she is always travelling to new and exciting places.

我自己認為, 祖母最有別於一般的老人的就是她對人的開放包容與歡喜接納. 對這點, 是我在祖母每次親訪加拿大的十多次與我們同住的期間, 我陪在她身邊親身眼見的深刻感受. 雖然身處一個人生地不熟的英語世界, 當碰到陌生人時, 她從不畏縮退卻, 總能很快的結交新朋友, 並與大家嘻哈成一團.I think that one of the best qualities of grandma is her outgoingness and ability to meet new people. I witnessed it myself first hand everytime she comes and visits us in canada. Even though she is in an unfamiliar place, she is never one to shy away from people, making many new friends quickly.

祖母要過超級無敵90歲生日, 我想祝她生日快樂, 還有生日後的每一天, 每一年, 天天快樂, 年年快樂.I wish her the best on her milestone 90th birthday, and hopefully there will be many more joyful years to come.
